Activities & Daily Living

Recreation times can range from quiet reading, tackling jigsaws or perhaps competing at cards or board games. For the more active brains, charades and quizzes are very popular. Residents are encouraged to continue their hobbies or pastimes, and activities such as painting and needle work are also regularly enjoyed.

We also arrange communal newspaper reading sessions around the coffee table, mature motivation groups, as well as relaxing hand and foot massages. Our residents can enjoy a good sing-song joining in with our singer who regularly comes along to entertain.

During the Summer months, garden fetes are organised and various outings arranged. We always make Birthdays and Christmas very special occasions and encourage residents to participate in some light hearted fun.
